A Note From Norton

Hello my fans and friends! This is Norton here to give you a long overdue hello and update on what's been going on in the Buffalo camp. I've just returned from a long Summer tour with the Steve Miller Band .... Boy this year has had an awful lot of touring between my band and Steve's .... I've had only six days home and am now headed back out on a Northwest tour with the Knockouts. I am seriously looking forward to getting back out playing my own music again .... I'm full of notes just a ready to bust out!!!! My CD "King Of The Highway" is finished ... It sounds wonderful and has a too cool (and very humorous) cover painted by Dave McMacken. It is currently on the desks of several record labels. Once we decide which company we are going to sign with, we will then gear up for its release. I would expect it to be out by Spring 99. I am also looking forward to following this CD with another release that will include many more of the songs that my fans have grown close to from our live performances, along with a collection of new and exciting tunes. The Knockouts will hit the studio this winter to begin the recording for this CD. So it's back to the tough touring ...no more getting pampered by the Steve Miller Crew .... now it's back to the basics; long drives, no sleep, lots of great fans and friends and good Northwestern hospitality .... and of course great music!!
